Hi guys!!

I finally had some time to write a post!! XDD but it'll not be a short one since i haven't been posting for almost a month now.

Firstly, about the RV tournament, we achieved results that were really unexpected and everyone's really surprised with the achievements.

For the guys, they got second overall. *claps* really good results. ^^ but it's a pity though. we were expecting champion for guys. cause their opponent, which is Bukit Batok Secondary School, have lost to us in the earlier part of this competition. was a little disappointed, but guys! second's not easy either. you guys did really well!(:
As for the girls, we're a little lacking behind the guys but the results were awesome too! third place we got. I'm really proud of my team! ^^ As the captain for the girls team, i could really say that with this achievement, we don't lose to our guys team. Afterall, the guys team are formed a long time ago, way longer than the year when the girls team started.

For your information, the girls team started not three or four years ago, but LAST YEAR. the oldest "seniors" we have in the group are secondary twos. (which includes this captain of yours. XD)

In the RV tournament, all the schools, except Nan Hua High, has seniors of at least secondary threes to fight in the matches. we were at a disadvantage, but look at what we've achieved! =D I'm really really proud of those who had fought hard and has tried their best in every match played, especially those who played against secondary threes from other schools. I feel really honored to have these female warriors who fought till the end, not backing down even though we are in a disadvantage.

I would really like to thank all these people who played for the teams and also those who had specially came down to cheer for us although they did not get a chance to participate in this tournament.

Lastly, i would like to thank the RV students for organizing such a great tournament and also allowing Hua Yi to participate in it. If there wasn't this tournament, we wouldn't have known that we were able to achieve these results. Our confidence were greatly raised because of this tournament and we have got our morale boosted for the coming tournaments.

OH YES! i haven't forgotten... the first day of the RV tournament is my birthday too! Joo Ping and Joey, i would like to thank you for making the trip to RVH!! But i'm also sorry for not being able to bring you into the school.. i couldn't because i had my match... I couldn't just go off like that. ): Am really sorry about that. Hope you guys don't blame me for it. (: Once again lots of thanks for taking the trouble to come and also buying me a present. ^^ Thanks thanks. Love ya'll lots. ^^

Haha.. See! only one event caused me to give such a long "speech". XDD okay. to the next event.

THE BADMINTON CAMP!! XDD

As i'm the organizer, i can't really comment on the camp. XDD but in my own opinion, i had fun. it was a really pleasant experience... i was really glad to see the smiling faces.. although many people said that some of the games were...lame? but i could see smiles on your faces... you wouldn't be able to notice it yourself.. but i saw them... if you don't believe me you can go to the badminton blog to see your faces. most of us are smiling.

I'm really touched by this.. i learnt that we do not need to have a grand something to be happy... i see pure and simple happiness.. and that's really enough. ^^ I personally feel that the most enjoyable thing in the camp is the water bomb.. what do you guys think? (: i was observing you know... when you people are filling the plastic bags with water... you guys were already laughing away and smiling too. seeing your happy faces nearly moved me to tears you know? haha..

Maybe a few of you will still insist on saying that the camp is not fun, i know that i can't possibly content all of you.. but even if only one person enjoyed the camp, i still feel that all the hard work i put into the camp is not put to waste. ^^

There are indeed some people that did not cooperate at first... but after some time, everything's right again. A million thanks to miss wong and miss chiang for assisting me in the camp... if you haven't helped me through the camp, it would be impossible for this camp to be this successful. I'm really grateful... You guys have to thank the teachers next time you see them.. it was really hard work.. those proposals and all the programmes. the teachers have spent days discussing the work with me.. they had a really hard time.

i also want to thank both teachers for cheering me up when i felt hopeless.. at first i thought the camp was a failure.. but miss chiang told me," you go look at the photos i took, everyone's smiling." And indeed, it's true. miss wong also said,"if no body appreciates your work, i appreciate it." i was really happy hearing all these words. i was really suppressing my tears then, making them unseen... but i was really touched.

thanks to the seniors who were helping us barbecue the food.. you were helping us make the food and only had your fill at the end of the BBQ session. a big thank you. (:

haha... that's all the badminton camp photos. ^^

now to talk about the things that happened these few days.

had lots of badminton training with kah hwee.. yesterday's training was the best. (:
our training is not like those... stroke stroke, play match. but it's those kind that has lots of drills.. improved a great deal out of it. my father went to help feed the shuttles to us. we did smashing, drive shots, netting, taking smashes, pushing, lobbing, back hand drive shots and lots more. we also played matches among ourselves.. ^^ it was very fun!~ kah hwee do you agree with me? XDD

these few days of training also created chemistry between kah hwee and i and we're more confident in our doubles match now.

oh yeah, haven't told you guys about the coming tournament on the 10th December right? we will be participating in the pilot pen competition, playing for both singles and doubles. my partner for doubles, is obviously how kah hwee. haha.. XD
i'll do my best in both and i hope to achieve good results in it. if i don't get far in the tournament, at least it's an experience for me to be more exposed to tournaments. it will also be my goal to win those whom i have lost to in the past. ^^
